SRI LALITHA PARAMESWARI TEMPLE

Aadi Parasakthi is the mother Goddes of three Murthys i.e., Brahma, Vishnu and Maheswara. This mother Goddess is worshiped in number of names by devotees. The name Sri Lalitha Prameswari has gained prominence among the deities.

Sri Lalitha Maha Thripura Sundari temple, which is situated at Takkellapadu village of Yerrupalem mandal is the only temple in Andhra Pradesh. The village is 80 Kms. Away from district headquarters and 16 Kilometres from Madhira Railway Station.

This temple was constructed by Sri Guntupalli Satyanarayana, S/o. Atchaiah in 1983.

Sri Sri Sri Jagadguru Sankaracharya Chandra Sekhara Saraswathi’s prodecessor Swamy Jayendra Saraswathi laid the idols on 6-6-83. Several other deities also in the campus. Every Friday the culminations are organized. In Dasehra Days and on the Visakha Poornima there will be special programmes.

Khammam, Krishna, Guntur, Warangal district people used to come and offer their prayers.
