The temple was built in 1964 by Sri Nallajevla Peda Nagaiah of Agraharam Village. This is situated 15 K.M.s away from Khammam. In 1966 the temple was taken over by endowment department. In 1974 the temple was reconstructed. The Yadagiri Gutta Devasthanam gave some funds to develop the temple and necessary facilities. With the help of Sammakka Sarakka Devasthanam, the DHWAJA STHAMBAM and Marriage Hall constructed in 1977. There is only one room donated by Sri Repaka Chakraih, which is now used as office of the temple.
