Kusumanchi was called as Krupamani in the Kakatiya period. Lord Siva’s idol Sivalingam which is the biggest one in Andhra Pradesh is here. It is Three Meters height and 2 Meters radious. Kakatiyas have built this temple. There is Lord Venu Gopal Swamy on the south side of the temple. The temples are at fifteen feet height. A beautiful sculpture is observed on the walls which is symbol of our culture. This temple is in need of development and protection. In 1990-91 the endowment department has taken over the position of the temple.
