All the Registration offices deal with the registration
of immovable properties and issue encumbrance certificates
and certified copies through CARD (Computerised Administration
of Registration Department) quickly and transparent.

IMMOVABLE PROPERTIES
Any
transaction, the value of which exceeds R.100/- are
compulsorily registerable. The general transaction are
sales, gifts, leases, mortgages, exchanges, partitions
and agreements. At present this transactions are registered
in the said offices according to their jurisdiction.
SOCIETIES
This
societies with a name to serve the public without any
profitable motto are registered at Khammam for the entire
district.
FIRMS
Any
business organization with partners comes under the
firms which are registered at Khammam for the entire
district.

MARRIAGES
This
department deals with two types of marriages. 1. Special
Marriage 2. Hindu Marriage Act.

| SPECIAL MARRIAGE
ACT
Special Marriage act applies to the bride and
bridegroom irrespective of caste and religion
and the marriages are solemnized by the Sub
Registrar if both the parties attained the age
of 19 and 22 years respectively.
HINDU MARRIAGE ACT
Under this act the marriages already solemnized
by the purohits or by the customs and usage
in that area are registered by the Sub Registrar
if both wife and husband are Hindus |

SALE
OF STAMPS
Non-judicial and Special Adhesive stamps up to the denomination
Rs.100/- are sold by the Sub Registrars, Khammam, Kusumanchi,
Wyra, Kalluru, Sathupalli and Kothagudem besides the
stamp vendors appointed by the District Registrar. In
addition to court fee labels, advocate welfare fund
stamps, notary stamps and judicial stamps are also sold
by the Sub-Registrars stated in this para besides the
stamp vendors.
The curb the distribution of fake stamps the higher
denomination of stamps are not being sold and the system
of remittance cash into the banks is introduced.
